If you'd be willing to give or purchase one of these items, contact Eva below and she can pick them up or answer any questions.
Also, the affected family may need some assistance with transportation in the coming days and weeks. If this is something you have the capacity for, please let Eva know.
We want our neighbors to know that we are all feeling the same anger, frustration, sadness, disappointment—and the dozens of other emotions that we have all felt in the last 24 hours. It's never easy to watch and hear what we've seen unfold in your own neighborhood and I know we all want to do something to help. We recognize that, and sincerely appreciate every call, text, message and email received toward our collective efforts during this time.
In the immediate hours during (and after) the incident, we were communicating with leaders, neighbors, and businesses to ensure that the safety of the family was the top priority. While it is always our wish to act quickly and swiftly, we knew that the best thing to do was to let rescue efforts work expeditiously without interruption or distractions. In the coming days and weeks, we hope to give our neighbors a chance to rest, heal, and organize their thoughts around what they need as they rebuild their lives.
Rest assured that we will pass along any, and all, efforts that the neighborhood can do to assist in that journey for our neighbors and know that we will continue to come together as the amazing community that we are—fostering community, safety and connectivity.
