Join the Cedar Isles Dean, East Bde Maka Ska, Kenwood, and Lowry Hill Neighborhood Associations for a Garden Tool Swap as part of the citywide Neighborhood Day celebrations!
From seasoned growers to novice seed-sowers, all are welcome at the 6th Annual Minneapolis Garden Tool Swap. As you start Spring cleaning, hang on to any extra yard tools, planters, garden decor, books, pots, seeds, and more, and share them with neighbors at the swap.
You do not need to bring items in order to grab something you can use, and you may bring items without taking any in return. All items donated at the swap are free for any participant to take home and we’ll share any leftover items on social media after the event.
Items to bring:
Garden and yard tools (shovels, trowels, rakes, pitchforks, hoses, hose reels, etc.)
Pots and planters (wood, terracotta, decorative plastic) - free of any soil or dirt
Potting soil/mix (unused, bagged)
Gardening and plant books
Garden art and décor
Bird houses and feeders (unused or sanitized)
Drop off and exchange garden tools from 1-4 p.m. at Kenwood Park, 2101 W Franklin Ave.
