Board Nominations

Submit your or another’s name for Board nomination either in advance of or at the Annual Meeting. A Board term is two years long. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and live in East Bde Maka Ska. All eligible candidates are welcome! Responsibilities include attendance at monthly board meetings, participation in at least one committee, and oversight and fiduciary duties. Your neighborhood plays an important role in sustaining a healthy, vibrant community.

Voting

Board elections opened and closed at our Annual Meeting! We had 5 openings for our 13-member Board, and received 4 nominations. Since there were fewer applicants than available positions, a motion from the floor was made to accept all applicants as Board members - this was accepted, as uncontested positions rendered an election moot. This motion passed, so all of them will become Board members! Our new Board and officers, who will be elected by the new Board soon, will be published in our next newsletter.
