Confused? The Charter Education Team, a partnership of Southwest Minneapolis Neighborhood Organizations, will host one public forum about these amendments on October 16th. Advocates in favor of and opposed to each charter amendment will make their case, and help you decide which way to vote. The forums will be held in a hybrid format, with an online stream and limited in-person attendance (COVID conditions permitting).
Learn more about the proposed amendments and how they will alter the Charter, if passed here, in a presentation by Minneapolis City Clerk Casey Carl at the September Kingfield Neighborhood Association Board meeting. You can also view the slide deck of the presentation with Casey’s notes on it here: 2021 Ballot Questions Presentation_Kingfield.
For more information, please visit the Kingfield Neighborhood website. A recording of the event will be available afterwards.
