New Board Welcome: Erin Willis & Ali Riehle
Erin Willis is thrilled to be joining the East Bde Maka Ska Neighborhood Association as our new president. Originally from Ann Arbor, MI, Erin lived in Boston, NYC and Denver before landing in Minneapolis.
Erin is an actor, musician, and teacher who has performed across the country. Since arriving in Minneapolis she has taught at The Guthrie and Children’s Theatre Co. Erin is so excited to be a part of the vibrant Twin Cities arts community.
Erin enjoys spending time with family hiking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors. She loves cooking, recipe developing, and hosting as well as reading, music, spending time with friends, and exploring.
Ali Riehle is passionate about helping Uptown thrive in its next chapter, bringing a background in community advocacy and human-centered design to support neighborhood growth and development.
She's served on the board of BikePGH—advocating for pedestrians and cyclists and collaborating on local infrastructure and safety initiatives—and helped the Polish Hill Civic Assn and Leadership Pittsburgh. With a background in teaching and facilitation in human-centered design, she loves helping people come together, collaborate, and envision solutions to big challenges as a team.
After living nomadically for five years, Ali moved back to MN and found her home by the Chain of Lakes. You can find her browsing Magers & Quinn with her partner Ryan, popping over to Lunds, or seeking out the best pastry and happy hours. Ali looks forward to contributing to our vibrant community and connecting with you.
