New Board Welcome: Andy Vaaler

My name is Andy Vaaler (rhymes with "dollar") and I have lived in East Bde Maka Ska with my wife Caroline since 1998.  Our two kids have grown up and flown the coop, but we still live in the homestead at 3200 Holmes Ave.  I'm a retired physician who loves to play music, walk around the lakes, and read.  We enjoy browsing at Magers and Quinn, getting our weekly sourdough bread at Black Walnut, and gathering with friends at various spots around Uptown.  I joined the board because I love my neighborhood and I want to do what I can to make it a great place to live.
