Friday, February 13, 2026 – Kickoff Day
Race weekend kicks off in downtown Excelsior! With sled dog veterinary checks, mushers luncheon, and the Meet-the-Mushers and Hug-a-Husky events. 

New this year! The 2026 Klondike lead team will be mushed by Ralph DeQuebec, a double amputee wounded veteran and two-time Paralympic Sled Hockey gold medalist. Don’t miss “Ralph’s Run!”

Saturday, February 14, 2026 – Race Day
Cheer on teams as they race an 8-dog, 40-mile course starting and finishing on Water Street. Then celebrate at the Awards Ceremony, enjoy the Finishers’ Banquet, and wrap up the weekend at the Klondike Wrap Party in Excelsior!
