Weigh in on the plans for Hennepin Ave reconstruction project at the Livability Committee meeting. 

All are welcome to share your opinions to help draft a response from ECCO. 

Hennepin Ave (from Lake St to 36th St) is scheduled to be reconstructed in 2018. The project will include improvements to the roadway, sidewalk, and utilities.

 Minneapolis Public Works held an open house on March 9 and multiple street designs were presented. It is important to note the addition of bike lane (in both directions in one plan) and the reduction or elimination of on street parking.

 All are encouraged to provide individual feedback to the city on the proposed options. For more information, go to the project website. 

The deadline for public comment is March 27.

The Livability Committee reviews current zoning proposals in the neighborhood and addresses safety, traffic and parking concerns.

ECCO Livability Committee meetings are open to all interested parties, however, only ECCO members may vote on any actions taken by the committee.
