Share your comments and concerns about the Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) Comprehensive District Design process at the ECCO Livability Committee meeting.
Minneapolis School Board Director Bob Walser, District 4, will be our guest to hear from you.
This meeting will not include a formal presentation about the Comprehensive District Design (CDD).
The CDD examines and makes recommendations on how MPS educates students, how the school system works to meet the needs of underserved populations and how to ensure resources are available to meet the goals.
Some of the proposed changes include:
Shifting from K-8 schools to K-5 and 6-8 schools
Centralizing magnet schools
Changing school boundaries (including High School boundaries)
